Why Jesus and Mohammad?

This book focuses on the importance of returning to God. It also highlights the reason God created the human being. God wants mankind to live in harmony. He wants us to build, not destroy, to improve, not corrupt. He wants justice to prevail and discrimination to disappear. He wants humans to come together, befriend each other, and not distance themselves and alienate each other. He wants us to be merciful and compassionate, not cruel and apathetic. He wants peace, happiness, and prosperity to rise above misery, hunger, and oppression. He wants us to love one another and live in harmony and good will. What is happening in the world today is not a state of harmony and good will. It is a world full of greed, wars, oppression, and injustice. In this book, the writer is talking about two of the greatest men of God's creation, Jesus and Mohammad (peace be upon them). He outlines the contributions of both prophets to humanity. Through a well-supported survey of their characters, teachings, and contributions to humanity, he reminds us of what harmony should be like. The writer breaks down living in harmony into smaller elements such as love, justice, mercy, and compassion. Using situations from the lives of both Jesus and Mohammad (peace be upon them) as role models of behavior, he shows how the two prophets behaved to uphold those elements and teach us how to behave so that peace, harmony, and goodwill shall prevail in the world.
