El Mundo de los Angeles (The World of The Noble Angels)

From the moment individuals are conceived in the womb and until the moment of their death and beyond, the angels are part of their lives. The angels accompany human beings, protecting them and recording their actions. They take—with the permission of the Lord—the souls of the dying to the grave and offer consolation or torment. On the Last Day, an angel will sound the trumpet, and the angels will be present on Judgment Day until they accompany people to their final destination in Paradise or Hell. Most human cultures, ancient and modern, have some kind of belief regarding angels. Arabs in the pre-Islamic era considered them to be the daughters of the Almighty. Some philosophers thought that the angels were the stars in the sky.
Today there has been a revival of interest in angels, and they have been depicted in movies and other expressions of Western popular culture. However, these myths have no place in Islamic beliefs. Our beliefs are based on the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah, which tell us everything we need to know about the reality of the unknown, including the world of the angels.
