Muhammad al-Arifi Biography

Dr. Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Arifi is a Saudi preacher and university professor whose accessible Arabic-language books on daily Muslim life, family relations, and applied ethics have circulated widely across the Arabic-speaking world. Born in Riyadh in 1390 AH / 1970 CE, he completed his bachelor's degree at King Saud University, his master's degree in Islamic Creed at the Imam Muhammad ibn Sa'ud Islamic University, and his PhD in Da'wah and Islamic Culture from the same institution. He serves as an associate professor at the College of Education at King Saud University and as the imam and khatib of the King Fahd Defense Academy Mosque.

Al-Arifi has authored more than thirty books spanning daily Islamic ethics, family life, eschatology, da'wah, and contemporary applied fiqh, many translated into English, Urdu, French, and Indonesian. His best-known titles include Enjoy Your Life, The End of the World, A Journey to Happiness, A Conversation with the Atheist, and How to Sustain Family Ties. His pulpit lectures and television appearances — broadcast across Saudi, Kuwaiti, and pan-Arab religious channels — have built one of the largest social-media followings of any contemporary Saudi religious figure.

Al-Arifi's distinctive style combines an accessible conversational register with detailed Qur'anic and hadith citation, and his books — particularly Enjoy Your Life, which translates the Prophetic ethics of human relations into practical contemporary guidance — have found wide readership among general Muslim audiences across the Arabic-speaking and translated literature markets.
