AbdulShaheed Drew Biography

AbdulShaheed Drew is an Australian educator, scholar, and author based in Melbourne, Victoria. He serves as a Secondary School Sheikh at the Islamic College of Melbourne. He is best known for authoring the book 40 Hadiths Relating to Islamic Finance (published in 2018), which bridges timeless Prophetic traditions with contemporary ethical and Sharia-compliant economic practices. Drew holds a Master's degree in Islamic Banking and Finance from La Trobe University and also studied at Deakin University. In addition to his written work, he is known for delivering Islamic lectures, Ramadan messages, and Quranic reminders to the student body at the Islamic College of Melbourne
